I've always believed that real health starts from within: the gut, the skin, and how well the body deals with inflammation. It's genuinely what I'm obsessed with, both personally and in my clinical work.

I love mountain biking, motocross, basically anything on two wheels, plus snowboarding. That's given me a very personal stake in recovery. If I'm going to keep doing the things I love, I need to give my body everything it needs to keep up. Part of what drew me to IV therapy is simple: what you swallow isn't always what your body gets to keep. Research into oral bioavailability suggests that for certain vitamins and minerals, as much as 80% can be lost during digestion before it's ever absorbed. That's not true of every nutrient, and oral supplementation absolutely still has its place, but it's part of why I wanted to offer something that gives the body a more direct way to take up what it needs, administered safely and under proper clinical oversight.

I'll be upfront, IV therapy isn't for everyone, and opinions on it are genuinely mixed. That's fair, and I don't think every client needs to believe what I believe for this to be worthwhile for them. What I can say is that I use it myself, I care about doing it properly, and I wanted to bring that experience to Queenstown and Wanaka in a way that's clinically safe rather than a trend.

Alongside IvyRevive, I also work in medical ventures overseas, which keeps me close to new research and developments in longevity, skin health and wellbeing, something I'm always bringing back into how I practise here.
